Ah, we had seen this one coming. Apple has now announced that it will host a press event on October 23, inviting media to cover the same. This event, the invite says, will be held in San Jose at 10am.
Nothing has been said regarding the main subject of this event. The company has issued a teaser, though, stating, "We've got a little more to show you". So we suppose that it may involve the unveiling of a smaller version of the Apple iPad.
For those not in the know, there has been a rumor for a while now that Apple would be introducing a much thinner and more portable iPad with a 7.85-inch screen.
Of course, this event could also be a follow-up on the launch of the iPhone 5, but personally, it still looks like there is a lot more going on here than your regular friendly press drill! What do you think?
