We had told you about the press event that Apple planned to hold, early this week. Well, as we expected, the giant unveiled its brand new offering, the iPad Mini, with a 7.85-inch screen.
The iPad Mini is 7.2 inches thick (or thin, whichever way you look at it!), is half the weight of the original iPad and comes in black and white colors. Featuring a dual core A5 chip, it also comes with an enhanced Facetime camera plus a 5MP rear camera.
The latest iPad Mini has the same type of display resolution as the original iPad, and so, app developers would not have to take extra trouble in order to develop new apps for this new device. Supporting LTE, this little iPad offers Wi-Fi, 2G, 3G, 4G, Bluetooth 4.0 and the 8-pin Lightening connector.
The iPad Mini, which is the answer to the Google Nexus 7, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 and the Amazon Kindle Fire HD, starts at a price of $329.
