Gosh, it is raining iPads! Close on the heels of the iPad Mini pre-order comes that of the fourth-generation iPad, which was unveiled at the same event in San Jose. Those of you who are not particularly fond of the smaller form factor of the iPad Mini can now pre-order the latest fourth-gen iPad via Apple's Website or the iOS Store app.
All of us were looking at the Mini, so this one came as a surprise, plus a little too soon after the iPad 3. Personally, I really cannot reckon why the company chose to release this model so soon after the last one.
This new iPad includes a brand new A6X processor, worldwide support for LTE networks, a FaceTime HD camera and a Lightning port as well. The screen resolution is the same and this device too comes with the Retina Display feature.
The price of the fourth-generation iPad starts at $499 and the shipping of the Wi-Fi models are due for November 2. Sounds like quite a powerful device, but a tab bit too expensive, don't you think?
