The year 2013 is just round the corner and will be upon us merely in a couple of weeks. This year has seen a tremendous boom in mobile devices, especially, a remarkable rise in the use of tablets.
While Android has done quite well for itself, Apple has tried its best to guzzle up the lion's share of the mobile market, by introducing a host of new iPhones and iPads. The latest iPhone 5 challenged iOS developers with its taller form factor, whereas the iPad Mini may well have revolutionized the entire concept of the iPad tablet device.
The current year has also seen Microsoft stabilize itself with its Windows Phone versions. Windows Phone 8 is expected to make its mark, especially in the enterprise sector.
I have posted a new article on the estimated mobile industry trends for 2013, wherein I have voiced my own views and opinions about what the coming year may hold for this industry as a whole.
