LG Display, the driving force behind LG products and those of several other companies as well, is all set to take the upcoming CES 2013 by storm. The company has announced that it would be unveiling Ultra HD panels for a variety of screen sizes. It will be showcasing all its latest work at the mega event.
LG Display will be showing off the panels it has designed not only for standard HDTVs, but also for 30-inch monitors, 5.5-inch smartphones, 7-inch tablets, a brand new QSXGA (2,560x1,700) screen for 13-inch laptops.
Additionally, LG Display will be introducing the world's first 84-inch UHD Interactive Whiteboard especially designed for classrooms; a 47-inch transparent display; plus a 30-inch monitor with a screen resolution of 4096x2160, which is the highest ever resolution of a computer monitor, intended to be used by professionals in the fields of design, Medicine and so on.
The company is also aiming to unveil its show-stopper at the CES, which is expected to usher in a new era of OLED TVs, featuring a thickness of just 4mm.
